The 2024-25 NFL season was packed with drama, from shocking upsets to underdog triumphs. In the end, the Philadelphia Eagles stood tall, hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
But how did the rest of the league stack up? Let’s break it down from worst to best.
32. Tennessee Titans

A rough season in Nashville. The offense lacked firepower, and the Titans never really found their rhythm. Time to regroup.
31. New York Jets

The Jets had playoff dreams but ended up with one of the most chaotic seasons ever. They fired nearly everyone, and now they’re stuck figuring out what to do with Aaron Rodgers.
30. Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence still has potential, but the Jags took a big step back. Maybe next year will finally be their breakout season.
29. Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray was solid, but the Cardinals just kept finding new ways to lose. Not a complete disaster, but close.
28. Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young showed flashes of improvement, but the rest of the team didn’t. At least the weather’s nice in Carolina.
27. New York Giants

Another lost season in New York. The Giants weren’t expected to dominate, but they also weren’t expected to be this bad. And yet, their coach and GM remain.
26. Las Vegas Raiders

Another year, another coaching change, another season of missed opportunities. Maybe next year they’ll finally get it right.
25. New England Patriots

The post-Belichick era is off to a rough start. Turns out, life without Tom Brady is a lot harder than expected.
24. Chicago Bears

Chicago landed Caleb Williams with the No. 1 pick, but they still looked rough. Now with a new head coach, there’s hope for the future.
23. San Francisco 49ers

The season started with promise, but injuries derailed their Super Bowl hopes. A year to forget.
22. Indianapolis Colts

Anthony Richardson continues to show promise, but the Colts lack consistency. There’s hope, but plenty of question marks.
21. Atlanta Falcons

A season full of “what ifs.” If only they had steady QB play. If only they could finish games. If only their mascot could suit up.
20. New Orleans Saints

A decent start turned into a disaster. A coaching change and quarterback injuries kept them from making a real push.
19. Miami Dolphins

They started hot but faded fast. Tua had moments, but they still can’t break through to the next level.
18. Cleveland Browns

Elite defense, struggling offense. Another season of “what could have been.”
17. Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith showed flashes, and the Seahawks played tough all year. They were scrappy, but just not quite good enough.
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield was solid, and the Bucs made the playoffs, but they never looked like true contenders.
15. Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow played at an MVP level, but the Bengals still missed the playoffs. Close games killed them.
14. Dallas Cowboys

Another year, another disappointment. Dak Prescott’s injuries didn’t help, and maybe a new head coach can turn things around.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers

Looked like a Super Bowl contender mid-season, then collapsed. A late losing streak had fans questioning everything.
12. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert was solid, but the Chargers kept finding ways to lose games they should’ve won. Their playoff collapse was painful.
11. Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love proved he’s the real deal, but the Packers still fell short of a deep playoff run.
10. Los Angeles Rams

Stafford and McVay kept them competitive, but they’re still searching for that 2021 magic. Puka Nacua was a bright spot.
9. Minnesota Vikings

Despite losing their rookie QB before the season started, the Vikings pulled off some incredible wins with Sam Darnold.
8. Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud had a solid sophomore season, but injuries kept the Texans from making a serious playoff run.
7. Denver Broncos

The biggest surprise of the season. Bo Nix looks like the franchise QB they’ve been searching for, and the team is finally clicking.
6. Detroit Lions

Dan Campbell’s squad played tough all year, but their playoff loss to the Commanders was crushing. Still, a strong season.
5. Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels is the real deal. They returned to the playoffs and made it all the way to the NFC Championship. Watch out in 2025.
4. Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson was dominant, the defense was elite, but somehow, they still fell short of the big game.
3. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen and the Bills Mafia put up a fight, but once again, they ran into their playoff kryptonite: the Kansas City Chiefs.
