Fever Ride Hot Streak into Next Matchup
The Indiana Fever are enjoying their best run of the season. Though their 91-100 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks ended their five-game winning streak. The team has taken down some of the WNBA’s top contenders, including rival Chicago Sky, during that impressive stretch.
As excitement builds on the court, fans are also keeping an eye on player interactions off the court, especially on social media.

Turner Shows Love to Former Teammate Griner
Brittney Griner recently posted a series of family photos with the caption, “Let’s run July back.” The post drew plenty of positive reactions, but one comment stood out. Indiana Fever forward Brianna Turner replied, “Picture 5 🤩😍,” showing love and support for her former teammate.
Turner, who spent 2019–2023 with Griner on the Phoenix Mercury, is now in her debut season with the Fever. She had a short stint with the Chicago Sky in 2024 before making the move to Indiana.
Though Turner’s stats are modest this season, averaging just 0.4 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, her impact extends beyond the scoreboard, especially in moments like these that highlight league camaraderie.
Griner Making Her Presence Felt in Atlanta
Now with the Atlanta Dream, Griner is in her first season away from Phoenix after 11 years and a WNBA championship. She’s contributing solidly with 10.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game.
As Griner adjusts to a new team and Turner continues to settle in with the Fever, their friendship is a reminder of the strong bonds formed across the WNBA.
