Fever Star’s Prank Goes Viral Before Big Win

Cunningham Goes Viral Before Big Win

Sophie Cunningham played a major role in the Indiana Fever’s gritty 78-74 victory over the Seattle Storm. But it wasn’t just her game that caught attention.

Before tipoff, ESPN shared a TikTok clip showing Cunningham and teammate Lexie Hull trolling Sydney Colson during warmups. As Colson bent to tie her shoes, Cunningham and Hull took the opportunity to leap over her in a perfectly timed prank.

Cunningham later reposted the video to her Instagram story, proudly tagging her teammates with the caption: “just got dos leched.”

Cunningham Shines in Clark’s Absence

On the court, Cunningham delivered her best performance since joining the Fever, dropping a season-high 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting, along with four threes, five rebounds, and two assists in 33 minutes.

With Caitlin Clark sidelined for the seventh straight game, Cunningham has stepped up in a big way, scoring double figures in eight of her last 10 games.

Head coach Stephanie White has leaned heavily on Cunningham during this stretch, and the veteran has responded with leadership and efficiency.

Fever Chemistry on Full Display

Cunningham’s bond with Hull, whom she now calls her “bestie” has become one of the most entertaining off-court dynamics on the team. Sunday’s prank only cemented their reputation as the Fever’s most chaotic duo.

Whether it’s big shots or bigger laughs, Sophie Cunningham is proving she belongs in Indiana, both as a competitor and a teammate.
