Trump Praises Chloe Over Kai as Family’s Top Golfing Talent

Trump Overshadows Kai’s Golf Success at Course Opening

Donald Trump made headlines once again, but not for politics. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony of his newest golf course in Scotland, the former president subtly shifted praise from his well-accomplished granddaughter Kai Trump to her younger sister Chloe.

While introducing family members at the Trump International in Aberdeen, Trump acknowledged Kai’s golfing career but said 11-year-old Chloe “may be one of the most talented in the whole family.” The comment sparked buzz, especially considering Kai’s recent achievements, including a third-place finish on the Srixon Medalist Tour and her commitment to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami starting in 2026.

Family Bonding and Some Friendly Golf Rivalry

Kai, 18, has been one of the most promising young golfers in the Trump family, frequently praised by her grandfather. She even credited their close relationship as a factor in choosing Miami, citing proximity to Trump Doral. “Me and him are very close, and we bond over golf,” Kai told FOX News Digital.

But Chloe has been turning heads too. Last summer, their mom Vanessa Trump shared a video of the sisters swinging in sync, calling them her “two gold super stars.” Even Kai herself posted a clip of Chloe’s impressive swing to her Instagram Story, showing that the sibling rivalry is more supportive than competitive—for now.

Trump’s remarks came as a surprise, but perhaps Chloe’s potential is already clear to those closest to her. Whether it was a lighthearted comment or a genuine prediction, the statement added a bit of family drama to what was otherwise a routine course unveiling.
