Let’s be real—being an NFL fan often means spending most of the year yelling at your TV, questioning every 4th-down decision, and wondering if your head coach even likes winning football games. But every now and then, a franchise actually hires the right guy, and their fanbase gets to experience something rare: coaching satisfaction.
Of course, this isn’t forever. It never is. But as of right now, these 15 fanbases are feeling pretty good about the man in charge.
15. Seattle Seahawks – Mike Macdonald

This is the “new car smell” of coaching hires. Macdonald did a fairly decent job throughout his first year as a head coach and fans seem to believe he has what it takes. Optimism is high, but check back in nine months.
14. Los Angeles Chargers – Jim Harbaugh

Chargers fans have been in football purgatory for years, but that all changed when they landed Harbaugh. He wins everywhere he goes and for once, Chargers fans actually feel like adults are running the team.
13. Miami Dolphins – Mike McDaniel

McDaniel is the NFL’s resident “cool, quirky coach,” and Dolphins fans love him for it. He wins, he embraces analytics, and he seems like he’d be fun at a barbecue. The only question: Can he win in January?
12. Houston Texans – DeMeco Ryans

Texans fans have been through some things. But now? They have an actually competent coach, a star QB in C.J. Stroud, and a division that isn’t terrifying. DeMeco Ryans turned this team around overnight, and Houston fans are thrilled.
11. Green Bay Packers – Matt LaFleur

LaFleur has quietly kept Green Bay relevant despite losing Aaron Rodgers, which is honestly impressive. Plus, Jordan Love looks good. Packers fans will keep backing LaFleur as long as the Bears remain irrelevant.
10. Minnesota Vikings – Kevin O’Connell

O’Connell somehow kept the Vikings competitive despite a ridiculous number of injuries in 2023 and 2024, including losing Kirk Cousins and JJ McCarthy. Minnesota fans love his offensive mind, and they especially love that he isn’t Mike Zimmer.
9. Buffalo Bills – Sean McDermott

There are definitely some grumbles, but McDermott has made the Bills one of the best teams in the league. Could he be better in big moments? Sure. Is he still miles better than whatever the Bills had for the last two decades? Absolutely.
8. San Francisco 49ers – Kyle Shanahan

Somehow, Kyle Shanahan could turn a walk-on from a D-III school into an MVP candidate. The man wins games with whoever is available. Sure, he still doesn’t have a Super Bowl ring, but 49ers fans know he’s their best shot at one.
7. Cincinnati Bengals – Zac Taylor

Bengals fans went from “Fire Zac Taylor” to “Never Let Him Leave” in about two years. Winning will do that. Joe Burrow is the main reason for the team’s success, but Taylor gets credit for letting him cook.
6. Baltimore Ravens – John Harbaugh

Harbaugh has been in Baltimore for what feels like a century, but Ravens fans aren’t complaining. As long as the team keeps winning and Lamar Jackson keeps cooking, there’s no reason to move on.
5. Los Angeles Rams – Sean McVay

McVay briefly thought about retiring, and Rams fans nearly had a meltdown. He’s the lifeblood of this franchise, and even with a less-than-stacked roster, he keeps them competitive.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers – Mike Tomlin

Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season. Ever. That’s absurd. Steelers fans may get frustrated with the offense sometimes, but deep down, they know they have one of the best coaches in the game.

3. Philadelphia Eagles – Nick Sirianni

Eagles fans love Sirianni’s energy. Is he a little chaotic? Yes. Does he talk a lot of trash? Also yes. But he wins, and Philly fans will love you forever if you keep giving them reasons to scream at Cowboys fans.

2. Detroit Lions – Dan Campbell

Lions fans would run through a brick wall for Dan Campbell. This man has somehow made Detroit cool, and the fans can’t get enough of his intense, emotional, knee-biting energy.

1. Kansas City Chiefs – Andy Reid

Reid could probably coach the Chiefs from his couch while eating barbecue, and they’d still win 12 games. The man is a legend, and as long as Patrick Mahomes is around, Chiefs fans will be eternally grateful.
