Back-to-Back All-Star Honors for “Bayou Barbie”
The WNBA made it official on Sunday — Angel Reese is a 2025 All-Star. The 23-year-old Chicago Sky forward has earned her second consecutive selection, just over a year into her professional career. Reese, who was taken No. 7 overall in the 2024 draft out of LSU, continues to prove why she’s one of the most impactful young stars in the league.
Despite early-season struggles, the Sky forward has turned things around. Reese is currently averaging 12.4 points and 12.6 rebounds per game, while shooting over 40% from the field. Her rebounding dominance and defensive grit have kept her in the spotlight. Also earning her another nod from fans, media, and players alike.

Could Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark Join Forces?
One of the most exciting possibilities? Reese might find herself teaming up with Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, who was named an All-Star captain after earning a record-breaking 1.29 million fan votes.
Clark and fellow captain Napheesa Collier will draft their teams live during the WNBA All-Star Game Draft on Tuesday, July 8 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN’s “WNBA Countdown.”
If Reese is selected by Clark, it would mark their first time as teammates beyond the Olympic test match. Putting an end to a college rivalry and a fiery WNBA season that’s seen them constantly compared and contrasted.
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game takes place on July 19 in Indianapolis. And with stars like Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson, and Sabrina Ionescu also in the mix, it’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated showcases in league history.
Stay tuned for the draft. It could be the beginning of a brand-new on-court alliance.
